The announcement represents FutureBrand's commitment to achieve gender equity in leadership.
Branding is not gender-specific. Nor is sustainability, CX, design, strategy or architecture. By believing in this, FutureBrand São Paulo presents a new leadership board that reaches gender equity in management positions – including leaders, directors and partners. The designers Amanda Oliveira and Victória Nogueira Bevilacqua; the brand strategists Ana Virtuozo, Gabriella Nóbrega e Marina Rufino; and the client leads Fernanda Roque e Nicole Machado were elevated in September.

"This movement has progressively grown over the last few years and initiatives like Think Olga and More Girls were key partners for this achievement. Reaching gender equity at the senior leadership level is an important and non-negotiable milestone, which represents our real commitment to generate a positive impact on every aspect of the business and our society. Being future-proof is making space, giving opportunities and ensuring that different perspectives can create the future."
Ewerton Mokarzel Creative Executive Director and Partner of FutureBrand São Paulo
This action is only possible because of the attentiveness of DE&I that FutureBrand has championed. Initiatives like FutureBrand's internal DE&I platform 'Embrace' help educate, engage and produce positive actions towards being a more inclusive workplace.
FutureBrand São Paulo is working with employees to encourage ideas like Afrofuture (an affinity group that promotes debate and creates a safe space to put forward important changes) and FutureBrand For Change (a sustainability hub). By committing to these actions whilst also running a biannual Census, FutureBrand São Paulo has increased psychological safety by 10% over the last 12 months, with 86% of employees feeling comfortable sharing their personal beliefs.
This movement also reinforces FutureBrand’s commitment to sustainability. Gabriella Nóbrega was elevated to Sustainability Leader with the challenge to guide brands and initiatives to build a more positive future.
"We believe in co-creating a better future. For this to happen, we need to develop tools that enhance the benefits of the ecosystem, finding new ways so businesses, people and the environment can flourish together. And we truly believe that brands are essential to drive this change."
Gabriella Nóbrega Sustainability Leader of FutureBrand São Paulo
